Simon Naclerio - Kinesiology

Simon Naclerio

Kinesiologist ASCA and RME certified

Your body keeps score. It remembers the stress you pushed through, the emotions you never had time to process, the habits that quietly drain your energy. Often it speaks before you do: through tension, fatigue, recurring discomfort or a vague sense that something is off balance.

Simon's work as a kinesiologist is about listening to that language. Through gentle muscle testing, he dialogues directly with the body to identify where stress is stored and what is keeping you from your natural equilibrium. Then, using precise and gentle techniques, he helps release those blockages so that body and mind can find their balance again.

At Centre Ichigo Ichie, Simon brings this body-centred perspective to our integrative health pathways. He works closely with the rest of the team, sharing his observations in our collective case reviews so that what your body reveals in his sessions can inform your whole care journey.

What is Kinesiology?

Kinesiology is a gentle, holistic method that uses muscle testing as a communication tool with the body. The principle is simple: our muscles respond differently depending on whether we are in a state of balance or under stress. By applying light pressure to specific muscles, a kinesiologist can identify imbalances that words alone may not reach.

The method draws on several traditions at once. It combines insights from Traditional Chinese Medicine, particularly the meridian system and the flow of vital energy, with modern understanding of the nervous system, stress physiology and the connection between emotions and the body.

This makes kinesiology a natural bridge within our centre. It speaks the same energetic language as acupuncture, and it works on the same mind-body connection as somatic therapy and sophrology. Different doors into the same house.

How a session works

A session begins with a conversation. What brings you here, what you are experiencing, what you would like to change. Then, lying down or seated, fully clothed, Simon uses gentle muscle testing to explore where your body holds stress or imbalance.

Once an imbalance is identified, he applies targeted techniques to release it. These may include light touch on specific acupressure points, gentle movements, breathing, or work on the emotional charge connected to a particular situation. The body guides the process from start to finish.

Sessions are calm, comfortable and never invasive. Most people leave feeling lighter, clearer and more grounded, sometimes surprised by what their body chose to reveal.

What makes this approach different

The body leads the conversation. You do not need to have the right words or a clear explanation of what is wrong. Muscle testing gives access to information the conscious mind may not be able to formulate. This makes kinesiology especially valuable when you feel stuck without knowing why.

It addresses the root, not just the symptom. Rather than silencing a signal, kinesiology looks for what created it: an unprocessed emotion, an accumulated stress, an old pattern the body is still running.

It works on all levels at once. Physical, emotional, mental and energetic dimensions are explored together, which reflects the integrative philosophy of our centre.

It is gentle and suitable for everyone. From children to seniors, including people in fragile periods of life, kinesiology adapts to each person. There is nothing to endure, nothing forced.

Who can benefit

Kinesiology can support you if you experience:

  • Persistent stress, nervous tension or difficulty relaxing
  • Emotional blockages, recurring anxiety or low mood
  • Sleep difficulties or chronic fatigue
  • Recurring physical tension or discomfort without a clear medical cause
  • Lack of confidence, self-sabotage patterns or difficulty moving forward
  • Life transitions and periods of change
  • A general sense of imbalance you cannot quite name

It is also a valuable ally for prevention: releasing stress regularly before it settles into the body.

Part of a team that talks to each other

At Centre Ichigo Ichie, Simon does not work in isolation. Within our integrative health pathways, kinesiology complements acupuncture and Chinese medicine, somatic therapy, sophrology and hypnotherapy, and naturopathy. The team meets regularly to review pathways together, so each practitioner knows where you are in your journey.

If stress shows up in your body as tension, poor sleep and emotional overwhelm all at once, you will not have to explain your story five times. We already share it. That is what integrative care means to us.
